about

It's always a little strange writing in the 3rd person about your own music, so I won't. This mini-EP is a collection of 3 songs I thought would make a nice EP to self-release. It's hard to put words to them, but here goes, so you can have something to read while listening:

Tempeh Infusion found it's genesis inside the L_KW bunker studio in Neukölln in early April as the world was waking up to corona. Most of the sounds come from a Korg Volca FM and some nine 909 drums. Chrome-colored basslines take you up into higher states for this fun banger.

Grab your JNCO's, candy and some wrap-around Oakleys and prepare to dance on your little purple alien spaceship as it space funks through the galaxy. I programmed in all the melodies, pads, drums, synthlines - so no loops or samples used on it - using nothing but an iPad with the (wonderful) Korg Gadget app. See if you can hear the Star Trek reference:)

Allow the revving hum of ambient engines, washed-out hi-hats and ambient, pulsing noise take you in to melodic sinewave reverie on Gentle Decorations, before closing out the EP.

***There is a bonus track included with this EP if you buy it***
